With the Sonnet DuoModo eGPU Module, you'll be able to connect a powerful 2.5-slot width graphics card to a computer without accessible PCIe slots. This module connects through a super-fast 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt interface. The module provides an 800W design as well as dual temperature-controlled, variable-speed Noctua fans, both of which are rated at 17 dBA. This module helps speed your workflow by allowing you to use a dedicated graphics card for tasks such as video editing, rendering, color grading, animating, creating special effects, and more.

Built for GPU Power

This module provides robust and well-regulated power for current and future GPU cards. It is AMD approved for the air-cooled editions of the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, Radeon Pro WX 8200, and WX 9100 cards. It is also designed to also support overclocked NVIDIA cards with high peak power requirements.

Expansive Graphics Card Compatibility

The DuoModo eGPU Module is designed to accommodate powerful graphics cards up to 2.5-slot width. It supports Thunderbolt-compatible cards with popular GPU chipsets such as AMD Radeon RX Series, including VEGA GPUs, and NVIDIA GeForce Series and TITAN GPUs. Even pro cards like the AMD Radeon Pro and NVIDIA Quadro GPUs are supported. 

Note that macOS supports only AMD GPU cards in eGPU systems, while Windows supports both AMD and NVIDIA cards.

Thunderbolt 3

Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
